About the Installation

A Life-sized dollhouse of waste, F.O.A.M. The Found Objects Art Museum (2005 -2007) was an art installation about the peer pressure of becoming "green".

For this installation, I culled the streets of New York gathering salvage, junk and found objects to create home furnishings. The reincarnated detritus (now furniture art) was exhibited in my duplex apartment located in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn.

The acronym F.O.A.M. was and remains a parody of MOMA (The Museum of Modern Art, NY). The upstairs mural was painted by artist Kaytidid. She used "oops" paint.

The F.O.A.M. concept is a solid enough for a second act
